Supervision of 33kV GIS & LV Switchgear Installation & Testing for New Manufacturing Plant

We provided expert supervision of electrical contractor activities during the installation and testing of a large-scale switchgear deployment, overseeing the installation of over 50 units of 11kV Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS) and 33kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and approximately 200 units of LV Switchgears. Our supervision ensured strict adherence to manufacturer specifications and rigorous compliance with site safety regulations. We meticulously confirmed that all switchgears were fully prepared and safe for energization following thorough testing supervision, guaranteeing a reliable and compliant electrical infrastructure.

Kulim Hi-Tech Park Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant – 11kV AIS Flashover Repair

We performed a comprehensive revalidation of the flashover panel condition, including meticulous re-wiring work, thorough panel insulation checks, and an overall switchgear functional assessment. To accommodate new metering requirements, we executed precise primary busbar modifications for the installation of a new Current Transformer (CT) and CT rod within the flashover panel. Following the modification and replacement work, we conducted rigorous testing and commissioning of the Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS), ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Kulim Hi-Tech Park Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant – MV Equipment Package Solution for New Switchroom

We delivered a comprehensive electrical infrastructure project, encompassing the safe unloading, precise positioning, expert installation, and thorough testing and commissioning of new 11kV Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS), a 3MVA Dry Type Transformer, 11kV Load Break Switch (LBS), Battery Charger System, and Remote Control Panel. We conducted rigorous Automatic Transfer Scheme (ATS) operation checks during testing to ensure seamless power transfer. Additionally, we provided complete project management and meticulous documentation, ensuring a successful and well-documented project delivery.

Intel Falcon KM8 PQMS –Cimplicity SCADA Development

The Intel Falcon KM8 PQMS project involved the development and deployment of a comprehensive Cimplicity SCADA system to monitor 237 Schneider Power Quality Meters. This solution included the configuration of diverse communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP) for seamless real-time data acquisition and the design of an intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for enhanced visualization. Key functionalities implemented were robust alarm management, comprehensive historical data logging, and the generation of automated reports, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing infrastructure and significantly enhancing power quality monitoring capabilities.

Samsung Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd North Port Factory – Energy Management System

We executed a seamless migration of existing Power Management Systems (PMS) to Xynersys®, ASPL’s cutting-edge PMS solution, across Samsung facilities. This project delivered real-time and historical power usage monitoring, enhancing energy efficiency, reducing operational costs, and supporting sustainability goals. The solution included the deployment of smart meters, robust data acquisition systems, and a centralized dashboard for comprehensive analytics, automated alerts, and detailed reporting. Our implementation process encompassed thorough site surveys, meticulous hardware installation, precise software setup, rigorous testing, and comprehensive staff training. Key features of the migrated system include real-time power monitoring, advanced energy analytics, automated report generation, and accurate demand forecasting. Deliverables included a fully operational PMS, intuitive dashboards, comprehensive documentation, and effective training programs. Ongoing maintenance ensures system reliability through warranty support, remote troubleshooting, and periodic system audits.

Jinko Solar Batu Kawan Plant – IIoT-Building Management System

ASPL’s Xynersys®-E, an IIoT-based Building Management System, provides comprehensive integration and automation for critical building systems. This advanced system leverages smart sensors to monitor chemical usage, optimize wastewater treatment through real-time quality analysis and predictive maintenance, and implement intelligent power management using smart meters and load balancing for energy cost reduction. IIoT-enabled HVAC systems dynamically adjust temperature based on occupancy and AI-driven patterns, while chiller systems utilize vibration sensors and remote diagnostics to enhance cooling efficiency. A centralized dashboard provides real-time analytics, improving sustainability and ensuring regulatory compliance. The system delivers significant benefits, including enhanced energy savings, proactive maintenance, and reduced operational costs, all secured through robust encrypted IIoT protocols.
